CISCC volunteer Erika Guy’s journey in education from Boston to North Carolina has been a culinary odyssey! 🍳✨Joining our team has been a tremendous gift, allowing her to share her passion for cooking with eager learners. This month, we’re proud to announce the revival of CookingMattersForTeens (CMFT)! 💫

After challenges and setbacks, we secured a home at the Presbyterian Church in Pittsboro. 🏠 On February 1, 2024, CMFT returned, marking a triumphant revival! 🎉Together, we’re shaping future culinary leaders and igniting passions! 🔥 Let’s nourish dreams and pave the way for success!

🌟 Deanna Fox, CISCC Student Support Specialist at Chatham Middle School celebrated a year of meaningful connections with one of her students, Zoe! 💙 Zoe, initially reserved, warmed up to the journey despite missing her trusted confidante from CISCC. Executive Director Tych Cowdin, joined by the dedicated CISCC team, recently briefed the Chatham County School Board on our impactful initiatives reaching students countywide. Collaborative partnerships with Chatham County Schools and other key organizations are pivotal in driving student success. 🌟
