On Thursday, December 22, 25 CIS CC youth and 7 adult mentors traveled to the campus of UNC Chapel Hill and the Morehead Planetarium. The group of 32 watched the Galileo show at the Planetarium, ate a picnic style lunch together, and then toured the beautiful UNC Chapel Hill campus.
Around campus CIS CC youth were able to sip out of the Old Well, learn a little about the history of UNC, climb through the Forest Theater, and got some much needed exercise on this stunningly warm first day of winter.
It was hard to tell who had more fun; the youth, or the adults. One thing is certain – we are all looking forward to our next trip together!
