Community Service & Restitution
This program provides juveniles, ages 10-18, who have committed a non-violent crime, a way to pay back their community by serving work hours at approved sites throughout the county. CIS CC staff organize group events such as park clean-up projects and assistance with area events and projects that benefit the community. Through this program, youth learn important lessons in responsibility and accountability and often develop positive relationships with their adult supervisors. Young people are also taught valuable life and job skills while volunteering.
